Today I went to lunch with my mum and I just wanted to show you what I wore.

I wanted to be cool and comfortable since its quite hot these days in Barbados.

Guys would you believe that I purchased this necklace from eBay for $6.99? Don't sleep on eBay people; you can find some great bargains there.

Moisturizing Spritz

Since I recently installed a sew in weave (pics coming soon) I have been using a moisturizing spritz to keep my natural hair moisturized. 

In a spray bottle I mixed water, Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 moisturizer, Hot 6 Oil, castor oil, coconut oil, a few drops of tea tree oil and peppermint oil. To be honest I didn't really measure the quantities I just added the ingredients until the mixture looked right to me.

Every night I lift up the tracks and spray my hair with this mixture and it seems to be working quite well so far. I also spray this mixture on my edges that are left out around my weave.... more on that to come. 

Time for Change

As you guys know I have been using Maybelline Dream Matte Liquid Foundation for a  few months. You can see the post here. Now that it is summer, I have found that this product is  not able to stand up to the sweltering Bajan heat. When I wear this foundation, by the end of the day I am looking quite a mess as it simply melts away. 

As a result, I have returned to my old stand by that never fails me; Revlon Colourstay. I believe this is one of the best budget foundations out there since it provides good coverage and lasts the entire day.

I just want to show you a few of my latest purchases.

ORS Edge Control. I bought this to help me lay down my edges when I get my sew in this weekend. I plan to you this in conjunction with ECO Styler gel. I will review this product soon.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. I have read many great things about this mascara so when my usual mascara  ran out I decided to purchase this mascara. I purchased this product with the extra large bristles that are supposed to provide more volume and longer lashes.

Color Club Nail Polish in All Over Pink. Recently I ave been obsessed with bright nail polishes and this one is no exception. I really like Color Club nail polishes because they provide great colour pay off and generally last quite long without chipping.
